Precon Group expansion move.....
On October 1, 2021, we moved to a new location after five years.
Through the help and cooperation of many people, we have grown steadily and have moved to a new location near Chungmuro Station due to the limited space we currently have. We would like to thank everyone who has helped us, and although we have decided not to hold separate events due to COVID-19, we plan to express our gratitude to those who visit.
We ask for your help so that we can become a more advanced Freecon Group, and all of our executives and employees promise to work harder to repay you with the best quality.

Since May 2020, we have been working with several organizations to build a BIM-based maintenance system, and Korea Airports Corporation recently obtained relevant international certification using the results, which provided us with an opportunity to once again confirm our advanced technological prowess.

Contribution on Infrastructure Construction for Smart Construction
The October issue of CAD & GRAPHICS, a specialized technical journal for construction and manufacturing, introduces the 'Expansion of the Architectural Standard Library and Construction of Other Library-Based Buildings' being carried out by Freecon among the research projects on building an open BIM standard platform and developing application technologies.

Appointment of the Computer Committee of the Architectural Association
I was appointed to the first IT Committee of the Korean Architects' Mutual Aid Association, a cooperative association of domestic architects, and had the opportunity to serve for one year. I will be providing opinions and advice on the IT system of the cooperative association and helping the cooperative's board of directors make decisions.
The first meeting of the IT Committee was held on July 24th in the Yangjae-dong union conference room, and the role and direction of the IT Committee were discussed.

BIM detailed design implementation
We are currently collaborating with major domestic design companies on BIM detailed design, and we also plan to directly win overseas plant design orders and proceed with BIM.
The detailed design being carried out with a major designer is a large-scale project that will be carried out by forming a joint venture with REVIT SERVER, and the overseas plant project will be carried out by utilizing TEKLA 3D data for the structure and designing the architecture directly with Revit.

Conducting BIM-related research projects
We have joined the third-year project related to the development of the Building Smart Association and the Architectural Library, and are currently working on improving existing libraries and building new libraries.
We hope that this project, which started in the middle of a five-year project, will help build a library that can help revitalize domestic BIM design in the future, and we plan to do our best to develop a library that can be used in practice.

Launch of a group of experts for consulting
Since January 2018, the Para-N Group, a group of architectural experts utilizing BIM, has been engaged in full-scale consulting and educational promotion.
The members are comprised of experts with ample practical experience in design and education, and are conducting activities essential to the BIM market by directly consulting and proposing work in various fields such as clients and educational institutions.
We are currently working to expand our scope of activities more actively and systematically in the future.

Performing BIM consulting work
I have been working as an engineering design consulting firm since November 2017. I am currently providing consulting services on design and BIM utilization for two engineering firms that are working on overseas plants in one-month or three-month courses.
The main consulting work involves utilizing TEKLA 3D data and Revit modeling and drawing, and is conducted twice a week for 3 to 6 hours.
Now, we can see that BIM is being applied more and more, and we can feel that it is being used in various ways in practice.

BIM Practical Training
Starting February 14th, the SUNJIN Engineering Comprehensive Architecture Firm will provide a total of 48 hours of basic BIM training over 8 weeks.
Starting March 16, a total of 132 hours of BIM training will be conducted over three weeks at the Incheon Construction Technology Education Center, and starting in April, a total of 350 hours of BIM training will be conducted at Ajou University.

Leading the way in BIM education and promotion...
He is currently working as a BIM education instructor at the Construction Technology Education Institute and the 3D Convergence Industry Association, and as a visiting professor at Inha Technical College and an instructor at the industry-academia organization at Ajou University, he is providing BIM education to students and practitioners.
And in 2017, he became a director of the Korean BIM Society.

Revit Practical Guide Book Published ...
A guidebook on the practical use of Revit in the fields of architecture, civil engineering, and landscaping was published and went on sale on October 1.
It is designed to help practitioners perform their work by covering not only modeling but also a wide range of drawing work. More details can be found below.
